Steph's help is always emphasized to denigrate him.

Lebron has played with more all stars/ superstars than Steph but yet we never hear it.

Matter of fact, the same "KD is better than Steph but Steph is more important for the Warriors narrative" is applicable with the AD Lakers.

But NOBODY wants to talk about that tho...
Because it's not a discussion. Bron > AD

The criticism is fair to an extent.

He's in his prime. He still has a few more years of elite play if he can stay healthy. I genuinely believe people are going to be fuming. I think they have a few more in them.

It's on Meyers and co. to actually back up all their light years, big brain talk. This is when it gets tough.

Draymond declined significantly. Let's see if he can regain what he once was. I expect Klay to come back to the similar player he was. Who knows what they have with Wiggins. Does a diminished role help him flourish? He has never been consistent in his 6 years. What do they do with their draft pick this year? What happens with the trade exception they got from the Iggy trade.

They are an interesting story. Curry is definitely a top 10 player right now and closer to top 5 in my eyes, which helps them significantly.

One guy is put on the Best Offensive player on the floor in important moments..... the other literally forces his team to switch defensive schemes to keep him from getting Chewed.... i **** with Steph but we not gonna do this A for effort business, son is a below average defender.

Doesn't devalue his offensive game at all, but again in comparison to KD it doesn't matter, because KD is just as good (honestly better) on that end.

You know...the reason teams target Steph (and it’s only really
The Harden’s & LeBron’s) of the world....2 of the best offensive players ever...is because he’s the smallest in a lineup full of longer, better switchable defenders, and to get Steph tired/in foul trouble. That’s the only way they could attack a historically great defense...that included curry in the lineup. The reults of that targeting, in the grand scheme of things for Houston resulted in what? For Cleveland...it resulted in a 7 game series...where it was decided in the final minute. I wouldn’t call Steph Curry a below average defender. I’d say he’s average overall. He was good in 15,16,17. Some...May say, elite even...😏. But nah for real. Y’all acting like he’s Steve Nash or worse lol. He’s not Patrick Beverly or whomever y’all think is the best pg defender. He’s also not even close to the worst pg defender. He’s average. And in a team concept...really good at knowing his role. Which is THE most important thing in basketball.

What Steph brings overall as a #1 option to a team, with adequate talent like KD has had...can lead to a higher chance at winning. Because of how it’s done.

Again, I’m NOT diminishing KDs value in that sense. I’m telling you, it’s much closer than you make it seem. And the “huge gap” on defense ain’t really what moves the needle.

Lol SKA is the troll god b. He mastered typing a bunch of words but still saying nothing.
= "Too much words are head hurt."

It's such a cliche, easy jab at this point. 'Whatever. You type a lot. BOOM, roasted.' So original. 😂🤦‍♂️

Another thing that people seem to shy away from in the convo of Steph's Gravity/ Warriors style is that they literally have the second best shooter of all time running along with him. And then added another Top 5 shooter to run with them for a few seasons.

Steph's Style is no more impactful then KD's or leads to better offenses. That Gravity sure is different when you no longer have to worry about the guy on the other side of the court sniping threes from 30.

Would have LOVED to see this gravity at play this year, but Steph decided to tank instead.

LOL. Lebron had Kyle Korver, JR, Kyrie all on the same team who's combined production trumped Klay's and yet were barely as good or better than that 2016 team.

Gravity just means the level of attention he gets. The whole damn court is warped because of #30. Klay is one of the greatest shooters ever but don't act like that's better that what Bron had in 2016 with Kyrie dropping 40 in back to back games.

This is what I mean, I always here about Steph's help but never Bron's, who has had better help.

Btw, second greatest shooter ever never showed up in the finals until last year. Before he did, the Warriors were still historic.

That sounds like hate bruh. He of course benefits from Klay Thompson. But There was a time when Klay Thompson was getting subbed out for Jarrett Jack...Steph Curry was still going Nuts then, too :lol.

The man really broke his hand tho. Came back On the timetable
That was set (despite Fake media reports saying he was sitting out the season)...

Y’all remember this thread when Rich Bucher said he was sitting out the entire season? Y’all jumped on Steph. He actually came back and was going to play the remainder of the season for a trash team...and Corona Virus hit literally....the next day lmao. He ain’t tank dawg.

Y’all just say y’all don’t **** with shorty, and go. Cuz a lot of it ain’t based in what actually happened.

Dude broke his hand. He didn't purposely break his hand to sit out.

As a Dlo fan, I wanted to see them play together even though it would have been a short stint. Would've been fun.

Steph gets injured in November of 2019. Has surgery. The timetable
Is to be re-evaluated after 3 months. Around the all star break. He gets re-evaluated...makes his return 2 weeks later in early March...

The next game...Corona Virus hits. And y’all say, he “tanked the season”.

Absurd.

You must not follow this thread if you think I of all people haven't called out Lebrons constant reaches for help. And i'm far from the only one who does it.

We have never saw Steph w/o another all time historic shooter running with him, and i constantly here this talk about how he Opens the offense & creates space which is 1000% true, but people conveniently leave out Klay.

As if a dude who can give you damn 40 in a QUARTER and can shoot from anywhere past halfcourt doesn't drastically effect spacing too  .

Steph is gonna get his regardless, but in regard to Wavy saying that steph's style is more conducive to winning and ball movement........... The Warriors have a very specific set of players that allow him to maximize that offense.

When there isn't another HOF shooter next to him on the court The offense looks drastically different

Nor is it normal, internationally speaking, for sports teams to play national anthems before domestic sporting events. You don’t hear “God Save the Queen” before English Premier League matches. When you ask non-Americans about the patriotic spectacle that suffuses American sports, they tend to find it bizarre.

Thanks. Long past time to retire that tradition in the US too. Hope the NBA steps up and leads the way.

Yeah, LeBron and Steph have both had rosters that suit their strengths. The way those rosters have come about is different but that’s ultimately what has allowed them to win six out of the last eight titles. It’s not a luxury afforded to many superstars so props to them and shoutout to Kawhi for winning those other two championships over that timespan while beating each of them once.

I think if he had three other shooters who played defense and shot over 40% instead of Klay, like every other superstar, he still would command the amount of attention on the court. His gravity isn't contingent on Klay.

Remember in school when you'd be half asleep at 8 AM pledging allegiance to the flag? It was basically muscle memory after a while.

Some cult ****.

I definitely remember that and have be thinking about it recently....anyone with children or nephews/nieces, do y’all know if kids are kneeling in the classroom? DCAllAfrican DCAllAfrican also might be able to answer.
