Trying to find a stand alone for the second part of As I Am. Wouldn't mind if that joint was looped either.

He's not the same artist he was 4 years ago. But that's cool, I respect your opinion.

I really like the album tho, not even on some stan ****. It def has it's misses... But the good outweighs the bad.

Bet y'all can't say it better than his previous album or mixtapes with a straight face

After listening in different settings, and in different altered mind states, the only song I don't rock with is Losers. And earned it, but that doesn't really count. Album delivered. It's a solid 8.5 in my book. No struggle hooks, and a dynamic range as far as the sound. The only qualm I have other than Losers and Earned It is the cohesion of the album. It flows well, but compared to his other albums, this one isn't on the same par. Other than that, I can say that I completely disagree with those of you that don't think it's a good project. Respectfully, of course. I'm interested in seeing how this ages. I won't bother ranking it amongst the other albums until after the 28th and everyone has gave it a few listens. My only advice to those that haven't listened yet is to go in this with an open mind, free of your expectations of hearing a pop album or the old weeknd. Having either will skew things a bit for you.

Is it that hard to comprehend dude? You can't compare. Each project is a different sound. From the mixtapes to this album. I don't compare because I like each project equally. Yea there are some songs on each project I don't like as much but thats normal

We get it already. You don't like BBTM....

You can compare them but it doesnt mean much. Thats like me ranking the trilogy and just because i put EOS last must mean it sucks, when it doesnt. I think theyre all great projects. I just happen to like Thursday and HOB more. Still doesnt mean i don't enjoy EOS. Same with KL and this. They dont have to be Trilogy good to be enjoyable.

Nah. I'd listen to this over EoS. That's always been my least favorite project. The only songs from that tape that I ever really cared for were XO/The Host, Initiation, Same old song, Next, and The Fall.

Come at me

Agreed. I don't get how people are making these conclusions so fast.

We've had years to digest his older projects.

I'm not saying we can't compare but this album to others... but it hasn't even come out yet... And the leak has only been out for a few days now.

Well said bro. Going in with an open minded is crucial.

I've warmed up to the album but no way is it better or even close to the rest of his work.

It's in the 7-7.5 range for me. I def vibe with Miguel's newest album more than this. At this point I'm glad we have new Weeknd music but don't see me playing this nonstop like his other 4 projects.

I still don't like Kissland and probably never will.
