I disagree.. On Karaoke I think he was going for a "male Sade" sound, which was kinda cool, but then once he started rapping, it killled the vibe

It took me an entire year to understand what he was trying to do with this song. I just heard it all the way through recently. But the rap does kill the overall direction of the song. And to me the beat used to sound like this:

"Rolling Stone," "The Birds Part 1," and his remix of "Trust Issues" have been the only 'official' releases he has dropped since the mixtape. It's not really clear where, if anywhere, they will wind up. Weeknd still doing his whole cryptic thing.

A friend of mind sent me the Trust Issues remix today and I was impressed so I finally decided to take a listen to House of Balloons and I must say this is a dope mixtape. I love the vibe of it throughout and it flows beautifully. This is a really good collection of music....the vocals combined with solid songwriting and beautiful production is amazing. I really look forward to hearing more music from this guy!
