Nah, it's just a psychological thing. Former players go in EXTRA against their former teams.
I remember hearing some footballer in an interview saying that players always go the extra mile against former club.

Yeah. He is more of a goal scoring threat than Coutinho or Allen so that will help break down he defense a bit.
