According to the former ref that was just talking on iTV....Arsenal can appeal, and the red card will be shifted to Oxlade. Gibbs will have it stricken from his record and he will be eligible for the next match.


The former ref was saying it's actually in the FA guidelines.

I hear you, I'm just saying, Arsenal have been wide open from the second the whistle was blown. Even if Gibbs as there and they had a full back line, I could easily see passes like that happening today.
