The Ultimate Football Thread 2013-2014 Vol. 4 EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A etc

This stage of the Europa League is usually alright...

No ones proly watching the CONCACAF Champions League but MLS isn't faring well (again). Liga MX teams have advanced 20 of 22 times in series vs MLS.

No MLS team had eliminated a Liga MX team in knock out play on the road.

Finally MLS teams have been out scored 71-18 in 22 knock out games so let's out this MLS is getting close to Liga MX notion to bed... MLS is not remotely close....
:x

Who was the guy who posted that the mls could reach the quality of European leagues in like 5 years :lol
5 years?!?!?!? :lol

I don't remember who it was but he didn't say that, someone took it that way and everyone ran with it. His point was that it would be a top league in the US in comparison to the NBA, NFL, MLB and etc

I was telling this to some Central American guy that showed up to play the other day. Dude looked at me like I was ******ed. I just walked away after that :{

Mexican League is way ahead of MLS. I'm not even talking about the results either, but how they play. MLS wants to be like the EPL so bad, it hurts my eyes. Don't understand how they always play 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 whenever they are on the road. no matter the team no matter the coach, they ALWAYS play that way. The skill, the touch, the passion, everything.

Liga MX > mls

Not even a Cruz Azul fan, but this goal was nice (and funny to watch tbh)

I'm no fan of Liga MX, but I love the jerseys they got. I play in an adult league and our team all wear Chivas jerseys, nice as hell. Not a fan of the MLS's whack Adidas ones

I'm interested in every single match :hat gonna be fun

Cheslea will beat PSG. And Lewa will score another 4 on Madrid

Me like the draw.

Me think United will lose 9-0 on aggregate.

Real
Chelsea
Bayern
Atletico

That's me final four. RESPECT

And Lewa will score another 4 on Madrid

Yea aighttt

It won't be an easy task but I'm optimistic going into this.

Mourinho got his lineup all wrong against BVB last year, Madrid has switched to a formation that's harder to counter imo, Madrid is a better team than last year, CR is on another level and now has Bale opposite of him, and no more Ozil to be a no-show who lacks the physicality for this type of match too.

I'm happy with how the draw turned out. No Barca/Real/Bayern knocking one of each other out in the quarters.

Can't wait. Borrusia isn't as good as last year and real is better as well, should be a good game.

Chelsea vs. PSG....definition of a 50/50 match-up. I'd be more confident if Matic wasn't cup tied. PSG isn't that great defensively so for an average offense like ours, that's a good hting. Their mids have an advantage on us though.

I called that Madrid - BVB matchup. We're not going to let last year happen again.

PSG - Chelsea :hat oh man that'll be great

On the eve of the London derby, Russian opposition figure Alexey Navalny, currently under house arrest by Putin is calling for not only Russian officials like Putin to be sanctioned but his Kremlin Mafia oligarch buddies like Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and Arsenal’s major shareholder Alisher Usmanov. Interesting Op ED piece from Navalny today if you care to read.
