Damn Jese is seriously injured, poor dude. He's been stellar this season.

I can't believe in the beginning of the year Real fans were chanting to replace Benzema with Morata, lol.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored 414 official goals (club and NT) equaling Brazilian Ronaldo. (via @futDados)

That angle... :eek

My goodness. I scored a goal just like this a couple weeks ago but i was trying to keep it from going out of play and i didnt even mean to even shoot it lmao. He made it look so easy smh

Man, you guys are pretty harsh on Morata. Yes he looked over eager & didn't link up properly at times with his fellow attackers but he looked more comfortable as the game wore on. I think he did ok overall considering he doesn't get to play too much (if at all) & the magnitude of the game.

Illarramendi & Isco looked great out there today. Illarramendi seems to relish playing with Xabi. Isco looked like he was putting on a passing clinic out there today. Very sad to see Jese get injured. He was having such a great campaign. Hope he heals fast. Looks kinda like Kolasinac went in on Jese.

I still laugh at all the people saying what a flop Bale would be. He looked pure class out there & gets stronger. I know I'm a Barca fan, but I'm a football too & I love seeing young players like Bale flourish.

This should have happened years ago smh. To why it took so long...there's a handful of mismanagement that goes on in the club.

Couldnt make it happen at Chelsea and Spurs....well at least now AVB will have Hulk on his team.

Been a problem for years now - reckon it's cost them a trophy or two over the past decade or so. I recall Barça's fitness team criticizing Arsenal's training and medical staff/methods when Cesc rejoined the club and had his medicals. I suppose something was off.

I think I saw someone mention that on reddit as well, about Cesc. Ozil has been injured for more weeks with Arsenal than at all his previous clubs combined. Ramsey was supposed to be out 3-4 weeks...our players always seem to suffer some sort of setback when they are making progress. I hope it gets figured out.

The latest word is that Jese's ACL is damaged.
I was reading the Daily News' Futbol Monday and they were quoting another article in which Bale said that he prefers playing in La Liga opposed to the PL. He mentioned passing and movement compared to long balls. I'll see if I can find, hopefully the original one as well.

I think it was the Manchester Evening news or whatever it is called, that was linking Bielsa to United.
I don't see De Boer leaving Ajax yet but at the same time I can understand that he would want a new challenge. I also do see him as a possible Wenger replacement

What's the deal with J. Dos Santos? I know he's done alright but I don't recall him making any appearances for Barca this season. He'll most likely be off in the summer?

@AFCAcademy Telegraph reporting new contract for Kos. Also 2 or 3 major signings, Summer targets are ST, CDM and RB but no mention of a LW.

- We have been linked to Matthias Ginter before, I think he would be a great young signing for us. Capped at the senior level for Germany, 20 years old and can play as a CB and CDM.

I think Wenger wants to evaluate Campbell before making a move for a LW.
We have also scouted Michy Batshuayi.
Apparently Wenger and Gazidis were at the the Real game

Bale has said that in a number of interviews both in print & video. The best thing that he could've done was come to La Liga or more specifically RM instead of languishing at Tottenham or even at United under Moyes. Could you imagine how miserable he'd be? He loves being pushed by the excellence around him most specifically Ronnie. He couldn't have had a better role model than playing under Ronnie (in addition to the other players) & then also have Zidane.

I hope Zubi & Co have really sat down & mapped out what Barca currently has (loaned out, in the youth squads, on Barca B, & loaned out). He needs to bring back Rafa but if he does, Sergi Roberto most likely needs to be sold or sent off on loan to a good team. Jonathan Dos Santos just doesn't fit into the team's plans now or in the long term. They need to sell him.

They need to sell Pique (which most likely won't happen), Masch, Tello (maybe loan him out), Song, & Dani. Depending on what happens with Deulofeu & this chatter about getting another striker. If that happens either Pedro or Alexis need to be sold. If someone put a gun to my head & forced me to choose, most likely it would have to be Pedro as the one to go despite having a stellar campaign. Alexis is just too god a dribbler & creator to send off.

Barca doesn't need a massive overhaul. The back line needs attention first & foremost. The secondary issue is what figuring out if Barca needs to play a new formation & then identify if we have the midfield to make it happen.

The last issue is bringing the Neymar transfer controversy to a close. It's gottta be weighing heavy on his mind & it seems like it's affecting his play...

damn... i hope his acl isnt torn. its been fun watching him relegate bale to the bench.

It's torn :{

Want to see that article Mastamind 8o

BALE DIGS LA LIGA
Gareth Bale is enjoying his debut season with Real Madrid and not just because he signed a lucrative contract with the Spanish giants. Instead, Bale prefers the passing and less physical style of La Liga as opposed to the Premier League.
“The big difference is the tactical play and the way all teams play a lot of good football,” Bale said. “There are no long balls like there are in England. That is the biggest thing about Spain, it is all passing and movement. It has been a new experience which I am obviously learning from and enjoying.
“All the teams, no matter if they are at the top or the bottom, try to play football. It is exciting, it is a great league and it is great to be playing here.”
Real Madrid, barring an epic collapse, will advance to the final eight in the Champions League. Real, which hosts Schalke 04 on Tuesday, beat the German side, 6-1, two weeks ago.

hope dude who took Jese out gets a fine and suspension although I doubt it'll happen

seriously sad to see an injury that probably slightly lowers the ceiling of a player who was beasting at just 21 years old

Oh god, if Bale had went to Man U he'd average 24 crosses a game. Lol

Watching Real this year is something special tho, Bale has impressed me. He's getting better everyday. I questioned his dribbling before he went to Real but he's improving. He's linking up with Ronaldo extremely well. Funnest team to watch in all of Europe.
