Liverpool did something similar when they signed Stewart Downing, Charlie Adam and Andy Carroll

Hey man Chelsea have dont it too. Shevchenko and Torres :lol

Good win for Porto today. I seriously wasn't expecting it. They played some good defense but they also made some serious mistakes and were lucky Napoli didn't score. Going to be an interesting game in Naples. Quaresma is playing for Porto like he's never left, it remarkable how important he is already. Want more Quinteiro tho.

Trying to switch shifts at work on Sunday.. some good games on I dont want to miss

“The truth is I’m very happy at this club,” said van Persie. “I signed for four years and I’d be delighted to stay even longer, beyond the next two years I have left on my contract.

“This is how I feel, although it’s not what has been suggested. I’m very happy with my team-mates and I’m very happy with my manager and his staff.

“The sessions we have on the training ground are fantastic and I’m learning a lot from them every day.

“I’ve been a professional footballer for 12 years and there’s no doubt I’m learning new things and progressing with David Moyes.”

For me Spurs is a massive lesson for many clubs.

Sure they didn't buy the Ibra's/Ronaldo's/Messi's of the world, but they bought 7 talented players. What Spurs have shown us all is that bringing in 7 players into a squad in one season is very dangerous.

Moyes has been talking about a massive clear out and bringing in 6 or so players. I don't see this as a good idea at all, especially with how trash of a manager he is (especially regarding man-management).

I'm really worried about the future of United :{

Headline on ESPNFC ws Spurs "stunned" by Benfica.

Really bro? Is it that stunning?

they're playing Portuguese teams. :lol

At least when Chelsea dumped AVB we got a big *** trophy out of it...

That infograph is slightly skewerd because they are including the cup fixtures, which are including the fairly straight forward Europa League fixtures for AVB.

If you only count the Premier League (which is really what AVB was sacked for) Sherwood still has a better record than AVB.

The board at Tottenham have really botched this situation. Infusing this many players in the team would always take time, but they didn't give it to AVB, and they probably won't give it to Sherwood. If Van Gaal really does come in, one would expect a bit more continuity, but once again it's a new system still trying to integrate some of these players, and possibly trying to replace their best players again, as they will want CL Football.

Personally I'm enjoying this very much, but hopefully they can snatch a point in the NLD Sunday.

How many kits does your son have?

The Ibra shirt makes 9 total (might be 10). I've purchased 6 of them at severe discounts. The only one's I've paid full price for is his Bayern Gotze, his Barca Neymar, & this one.

Moyes wants to bring in 6 or so players but we all know damn well that he's not gonna sign that many... :lol

let's be honest though,Utd does need some fresh new faces...
- Rio's contract is up at the end of this season
- Vidic looks set to leave for Inter
- Giggs has already taken a backroom role...if he hasn't featured much this season i don't think he'll appear anymore after that
- Ando's out on loan but i don't see Utd welcoming him back with open arms next season

add to that,a few other players face uncertainties over their future - Evra,Kagawa,Nani...
that leaves Utd desperately needing quality in two areas - defence and midfield...
a CB,LB and a top-quality CM is a must-buy in the next transfer window...
i'm also hoping that Moyes would give a chance to Powell,Zaha and Lingard to challenge for first-team places next season...

by the way,i heard Garay was solid against Spurs in that Europa League match - Utd's been eyeing him for awhile so getting him would be huge for them...

If Sherwood can't handle Befica's Luisao, he definitely won't be able to handle Jose should Sherwood ever warrant his attention... :lol

van Gaal will not be able to sort out the mess Levy made. I really hope de Boer isn't seriously considering this club either. It's an unmitigated disaster especially since if you bring in another manager, the players will have to learn a new system. Some of the players might not even suit the new manager's system especially the new ones which will make the purchases look even more foolish...

Aside from the Iniesta, the shirts I've bought for him were of his choosing. I love Porto kits (one of the best out there), but he wouldn't wear it because he's not real familiar with the club. The last shirt I'm going to buy him is the away Brazil with Thiago's name set if it's available. He really liked the shirt when he saw them playing against vs. SA earlier this month.

^ Damn, you start this early in the morning or this left over from last night?

Edit - Coupe, if it makes you feel any better, I may get him the Portugal Ronaldo home shirt if he gets good marks again this term...
