What to do with Cesc? I think I can safely say that he's not Xavi's heir apparent as Cules would've hoped...I think he's fine playing the role he's playing now but it seems to upset the balance of playing time with Iniesta. Part of that problem however is Tata's strict rotation policy... He seems to favor Cesc though...
Iniesta really had a positive impact on that Sevilla game. He's been substituted in too much IMO. He needs to start more if healthy.
Agree with the selling of Song & Tello. Alexis & Pedro are ahead of him on the depth chart so to speak... I don't think Deulofeu will be back. I think he should be sold to Everton for the best possible price.
Branislav
Who needs a striker when you have him
Can't stop scoring. Steal from Moscow.Ivanovic saves the EPL from a goalless first half across all games.
hmmWe all knew/thought City was a stopgap just because Atleti would never sell Kun directly to a city rival like RM. Similar to Mario from Inter to AC Milan.I know they want Kun, but I know Citeh will throw a small countries GDP at Kun to try and keep him to stay...
I don't think Cesc is going anywhere either. Song and Tello have to go this summer. Bring in a central midfielder and have Mascherano go back to defensive mid. I would be curious to see how Busquets and Masche do in a double pivot. Xavi running the show as normal but having Rafinha back him up, often. If they were going to sell Cesc, it should have been last summer in an effort to keep Thiago. He's still one of the best players in the world and is having a fantastic season so I'd certainly keep him unless he wants out for whatever reason. I think Tata will need to look into a 343 for next season to hopefully solve some of the systemic issues - he used it at Newells.
Deulofeu won't be sold, and I don't why they would even consider it. He's a massive talent, and has barely scratched the surface of his ability.
Chelsea have been breached!
1-1
12th draw of the campaign.'twas coming.
Why always West Brom?
LMAORegular night in Hoboken/NYC.
Grimy motels right off Kennedy Blvd.
Tell me you know about the "roach" motel. Yellow sign. Fountain it's called?LMAO
Psk- you really don't like Deulofeu, huh? Because having seen him play, no way in hell barca should sell.
Sell him to Everton permanently with a buy-back option. Roberto will work magic. He's been a "star" player since he was 9 years old & his ego was apparently huge then. I've personally watched his selfish play with the U19 Spanish teams which won the Euro's in 2011 & 2012. He'd admonish players for not passing him the ball & coaches when subbed off. He'd dribble right past open team mates. Talk trash on the field by asking opposing players if they wanted a pic & autograph after the match.
If 9 years of La Masia didn't teach him any sense of humility than I don't know what will. The part that kills me is that he won't pass if he thinks he can lead with the ball. I've heard talk that he will most likely stay at Everton for a second year.
Also logistically, where would be possibly play? Several players would most likely need to be off loaded. Hubris by his name got it tattoo'd across his forehead...
