The Ultimate Football Thread 2013-2014 Vol. 4 EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A etc

How do you guys think the MLS would be affected if they got rid of Adidas as the sponsor for all the kits. I'd like to see multiple companies battle it out for different teams, but that's just me.
yeah i never liked that as well.. the clubs could obviously gain financially if they opened it up to multiple kit suppliers. I think adidas played a role in keeping the league afloat some time ago and thats why they are the sole providers.

Yea Adidas signed on to pay MLS something like 20 mil a year at a time when they didn't have to funding Generation Adidas program. Can't blame MLS for staying loyal.

What is kaka gonna be doing this season? Loaned out somewhere until orlando starts play in mls in 2015 right?

Granted I'm still fairly new to the sport and forgive the ignorance of my post if it warrants but in that article posted above, how I read it the writer suggested the US should pay young players to train, ditch the college system and allow MLS squads to stack teams? And idk if he meant players but he also suggested teams get demoted or promoted I'm guessing on performance? Soooooo exactly how does that work & where would a team exactly get demoted or promoted to seeing that MLS is already viewed as a minor league or sorts?

Its official, madrid signs Toni Kross. Will be made official after WC.

£20 mill is a bargain!

Did you doctor the pic Sinner Sinner to write out Chevy?

Written out looks much better than that ugly logo...

Joachim Low confirmed 7 of his players are suffering from flu like symptons ahead of their match vs Les Bleus. :x

Might even look ok if the logo was all white & not that garish gold... or maybe it's the border around that gold....

Wonder if the players get to keep their statues after the WC, that Howard one would be so dope just on the front lawn
