The titanic vol. lost

First build, lets see how deep the gulf of Mexico is.

I am a bit confused. Are you saying that testing could not have been performed because it was composite or are you saying that if they did the proper testing with composite that it would have revealed this voyage was not feasible?
From what I understand, according to an interview with James Cameron Carbon fiber composite is not testable as a single material such as titanium, steel or acrylic is. AKA the fact that it was 2+ materials means that even if they did test it accurately it is not predictive and could still fail, unlike other materials that could be modeled.

IE, it could have passed the tests and still failed due to how composite material is structured

I am not a physics =, guy, never was but that's how I took the Cameron interview

Got it - I would have to watch the video to find out exactly what he said but you can definitely test composite otherwise it wouldn’t be heavily featured in other transportation vehicles. From a cursory search and an article that I found which may have included the quotes from the video you saw dealt with the mechanical properties of composite. It’s not meant to be used in compressive environments like those experienced when going into the dee sea.

So I think it is more of the case that testing would have showed the design/concept was fatally flawed (pun intended) because composite isn’t the appropriate material for this type of mission. He basically tried to use an aerospace solution for a deep sea problem which doesn’t fit and here we are.

I can’t even say he had the right idea or intent at this point because this fundamental concept could/should have been explained to him by his Chief Engineer from the jump :smh:

LOL I had to read that "core ah zone" post again and see that Samuel Jackson GIF. That **** was too funny.

Maybe a bit random, but has this whole situation suddenly revived the curiosity/obsession of the history of the Titanic sinking and all that? All of a sudden, I'm watching clips from the movie, some videos of the Titanic underwater, etc.

Honestly, due to my own personal curiosity and obsession with Titanic, I find myself looking up stuff here and there. Pretty sure I do so at least a couple times through out the year. It’s crazy how every year they have something “new” to keep interest going.

But I had a faker over the other night. Should’ve seen my face when she asked to watch Titanic🤨. All I could assume is “oh, 4 hour movie, I’ll be sinking before the ship does”. But nah, this chick made me feel stupid asf as we watched. “Why dem folks even go down there?”😕 Old Rose comes on screen, her, “I think that’s Rose”. 🤨 But saying this one of yo faves. She made another comment about Jack being bad and that she thinks he gon die, and the Titanic being bigger than a city. I went to sleep. :smh:

I think this mission was two fold.

I think this mission was about:

-reaching the corazon of the Earth
-reaching the "core ah zone" of the Earth

*corazon = emotional heart of GOD
**"core ah zone = physical Heaven on Earth

I believe that the passengers son that went to the Blink 182 concert... went because prior to his father going on this mission... he knew that his father would either:

-reach the corazon of the Earth... or the emotional heart of GOD... because whether his father completed his mission or not... even trying his mission itself took heart.... and he knew his father would be emotionally discussed as being brave and of heart... by the masses.
-reach the "core ah zone" of the Earth... physical Heaven on Earth... complete his mission... and return... with directions... for the masses.

There are lots of different stories about a "core ah zone"... heaven on earth... or cave paradise... inside of the heart... or corazon... of GOD. I believe that the crew believed the stories... and went for it.. knowing that they would either:

-reach the corazon of the Earth
-reach the "core ah zone" of the Earth

...
Did Stockton Rush put a penis in his hand before the ship sank? PAPIHH

From PAPIHH to “core ah zone”.

You sir, are amazing.

Glad you’re still with us (and I mean that sincerely). :pimp:

Thank you for the compliment :lol:

I am still glad to be a part of us.

I sincerely believe that you mean that you are glad that I am still with you all :pimp:

In reference to PAPIHH... I might have been shamed in 2017... but I still stand tall in reference to what I still can hear... and might eventually be called FIRST... in reference to figuring out... what we all do not know... yet. Since I made that observation... others... very specifically 50 Cent... have made the same accusation.

Time will still eventually tell.
