I guess I’m no longer ‘casually’ in this watch game.
Also got word from the AD that I’m next in line for a BB 58, could be a week, could be six months. I don’t want to pass up it considering my other recent purchases. So I’m thinking about buying (to build rapport) and insta-flipping or I’d be willing to pass it onto an NTer at retail.

I like Tim Mosso, but I must say, I will not be checking for this guy. Even with better timepieces. It was hard enough getting through half of that video.

No, I'm using RubberB's AP band. Ordering from AP took forever and this one was ready for purchase. Really comfortable, and imo the color is closer to the dial color. But I am using the factory AP conversion kit and deployant clasp. Pricey af

Didn't see that coming.
He'll definitely have access to the inventory they have over there (which is very impressive... Way better than what's in the video.
). Wonder if they're going to use him to engage with the more entry-level pieces they sell. Hope he lasts longer than Federico.

-Over the moon with his announcement; buys himself a watch (not shown) to commemorate the occasion
-Something something "vino" and "ciao"
Edit: He didn't mention a single thing about Seiko or Squale, which is an impressive avhievement on its own. Lol

Haha. The rocky segment was cringeworthy.
What is interesting are the moves watchbox/govberg are making. They have their own watch channel with multiple shows, the urban gentry, the govberg retail online and physical stores, watchbox online as well as new in store presence it seems as though they are really are trying to lock down all levels of the industry.

That's a nice watch and as a leftie myself I appreciate being able to make adjustments while on the wrist. The red text makes it pop. I wish they would bring it back on the submariner.

Haha, I’m not knocking. It’s a reissue done right. I like it a hell of a lot. And that price point is spectacular! Quartz is making a comeback in a mechanical world.

Not to mention the acquiring of small companies here and there. They're expanding really quickly -up by about 50% from the previous year I think.
Not really sure what TGV will bring to the table, but he does have a cult following in UGWC. Maybe take over some of the entry level stuff from Tim? Maybe WB takes in modded SKXs and Squales after this? Jk idk

Why do you think that they changed the hands from the original? I’d like to buy this but I would feel like I’m trying to own a Rolex Pepsi without actually owning one.

i think the og does have the round hour hand minus the mercedes, the pic i posted was repaired so it might have been replaced?
