pretty sure I heard Kay Slay play a new E.A. ski track on the radio last week.
E.A. had a track 'manuscript' where he said some things about dj clue, I wonder if that sparked his friendship with Slay

i cant say for the whole genre, as i haven't dug too deep into it. but grime mcs really go hard. if they find a way to catch on in the US they would give our mcs a run for their money. if the accent is too thick it gets hard to understand but they got some really interesting unique/new flows and are quite clever with the lyrics and wordplay.

just heard that ea ski song. ehh. its really dre influenced. wish he woulda had that old east bay fonk sound. good to know he's still active.
