I was in my early 20s working front desk at a YMCA. The locker room was closed for a few days to retile it. Some old lady asks as she scanning in if the locker rooms are open yet, I absent mindedly say, "not yet soon, just waiting for the caulk to get hard. " Couple of 16 year old coworkers I'm working with just bust out laughing. I walked away and didn't scan anybody else in the rest of the day
It’s crazy being in your 40’s, happily married, out of the game for 15 plus years, and not having a single sneaky link/sidepiece/friendswith Bennie’s in your contact list or life in general.
Just feels weird. I don’t know why I’m thinking about this, but even if I wanted to, I don’t have a single person I could “hey big head, you up?” In my life. Can’t remember the last time I did have someone like that in my contacts. It used to be so so so so easy.
