Here in ATL, over the last week 3 kids have been killed, 2 shot, and 1 baby hurt from shattered glass caused by a shooting.

A 14 and 16 year old, both friends, were killed by a friend(14) , over a $30 vape pen. I actually grew up with a few of the parents of these kids. All of the parents were cool, even with the parents of the kid that committed the murders. Check this though, the mother of the kid that killed his friends reached out to the murdered kids parents and asked them not to press charges. Not sure how they’re feeling about that. But I think it won’t matter, being they’re charging the kid as an adult.

14 and 16 year old boys gone, as well as a 4 year old girl.

incredibly unfortunate set of events... multiple families lived irrevocably changed forever

related but unrelated, one of the things i think is weird, and maybe it's just me, is the proverbial rollercoaster of things that hits the attention with the internet/social media, pulled up to share a what a thought to be funny clip that now feels inappropriate and this sort of flip of 'emotion's happens constantly all the time now with socials & realistically doesn't have any impact in my real life but maybe it should?
