the thread about nothing...

🤣 she didn't even spazz out tho she did what any normal person would do, ring me up let me be on my way and if you don't want to cool you don't need my money I'll just leave

you walk into an establishment & an employee or anyone even greets you, repeatedly, maybe even jokingly saying something you're not in any mood for...you aren't going to at least acknowledge or say anything? just glare/stare at this person as they attempt to??

yea, i got people from up there but i don't think I would place his accent from there altho it could be

🤷🏿‍♂️ for sure but he sounds some variant of carribean, ain't it?

a lot, maybe even most of communication is non verbal so i'd agree that someone behaving as man here is willfully ignoring the obvious, not sure it should justify the spaz out tho...

i get not wanting to open the proverbial door to conversation/small talk, still...both actions seem like bit condescending of each other

Highly doubt he'd carry it like that with a man.

"I like your hair"

Most men get the hint from the first 1-2 times you get no response. Here though?...he willfully kept going multiple times and still hit her with "you know I own this store" like that helps his plea for attention/interaction.

😂 he definitely took a bunch of consecutive left turns that were very specific to her being a woman, so nah i would not expect that the interaction would play out similarly (her even playing that way is on the strengths of being a woman) but i do think it would still be type crazy to completely ignore being addressed with a standoffish countenance to a store employee just making small talk...

Exactly.

Small talk is one thing, but that fool proved her right when he jumped into his feelings.

Fool nearly pulled out his resume, credit report, and driving history just because she wasn't going for the BS.

He's definitely the "you can't have friends?" type

What was the purpose of telling her that he owned the store, like he gonna have her shopping at Pelican Bay for not treating him nicely?

Fool went from Umar Johnson to Alonzo Harris in 20 seconds.

Ohhh - you can't speak?

ok-alright (1).gif

Are customer service reps paid by how long they stay on the phone?

I've had two conversations this week (different companies) where the rep needlessly prolonged the interaction.
