Do yall think a raffle would work on a site like IG or Twitter?

buy item X( say a Louis bag or PS4 or whatever)and raffle it off for $10 a ticket, think enough people would bite to make some money?

Also I have a month left and $50 on me, so I'm going to need a prayer circle.

jesus be a paycheck or a 50,000 won bill on the floor or something.

if you have enough followers probably. i think you'd need over a 1000 to feel comfortable buying a louie bag to raffle.

no chance i would trust a twitter or IG raffle i would need video evidence of the package getting sent out to the winner and the winner showing a video of actually recieving the package...and even then it could be a friend that you bought it for and just told to play along or something

Thats what i was thinking as well. but if i did this with me and 1 of my friends we could pool money as well as followers. say we did a tv or ps4. thats between $500-800. i think we could get a cool 100 people to throw a 10 in the pot for a chance. then once people start to see its legit i think it could take off. idk man, when i seen dude got offer 3 billi for snapchat i just felt like i need to get quick couple pennies of this social media stuff.

3 billy and he said no, to me that's foolish. SnapChat isn't Instagram, it isn't FB, it isn't Twitter. Dude should've taken that money and ran.

See thats the other side of it that ive been thinking of too. how to make it legitimate.

i think reputation would be paramount. Then if you got huge and could be like quibids or those other penny auction sites where it becomes only putting down a $1 per say for a big ticket item.

But you would have to limit your profit to not scare away customers. Like only allow 100 tickets sold for $5 a piece for an ipad...so people don't get discouraged that there are 100000 people in the raffle. So you limit ticket numbers and let the price fluctuate.

Hell imagine you buy a ps4 and say there are two raffel tickets....each ticket is $250.....are people dumb enough to take a 50/50 shot at a (almost) half priced ps4? probably...you make $100 instantly

No way Kanye, I'll keep em til the day I die.

Well I graduate with my BS in Biology in Dec. I'm 55 grand in the hole and I need a bunch of certificates to get a job or graduate school. Calculated my cost and for me to live somewhat a comfortable life in GA it would require 40K a year to pay bills, save up and play this debt down by $600 a month.

I'm scared this will not work out. HOW DO PEOPLE DO THIS?

budgeting bruh

Still can't believe that George Jefferson was gay :lol :{
So is Carl Winslow, and Uncle Phil. Crazy huh?

wait :wht? mind blown. would of never thought.

Good luck. i actually stole the idea from a local bar thats doing around my way. gucci item of $200, $10 gets u in the bar and a raffle ticket.
