Thanks bruhs. The surgery only has a 5% chance of death but it's still uncomfortable knowing that considering less than 1% of people have my congenital defect.

Hopefully I won't be a part of that 5%. I don't really "need" the surgery but I don't feel like getting pneumonia all the time and potentially dying of fatal hemorrhage either.

Been coughing up blood clots for about 2 weeks and threw up jet black vomit.

Blood tests and a lung x-ray were clean so I got a gastroscopy after vomitting blood. Turned out clean too so a CT-scan with contrast fluid finally revealed the problem.

Turns out I have a congenital defect called pulmonary sequestration. A blood vessel from bleeds directly into my lung from my aorta.

First time I've ever been affected by it hence why it was discovered so late. Apparently it develops at the end of teenage years so it makes sense as I'm 19 now.

It greatly increases the risk of respiratory infections as well as potential fatal hemorrhage so my specialist strongly recommended getting the surgery.

I have a blood thickener (Exacyl) now so the bleeding stopped but I lost a pretty large amount of blood from the hemorrhage.

Specialist pulled some strings and got me a consultation with a renowned lung surgeon this Friday.

My homie is a BMore cop.  nice dude, but he said you basically have to violate peoples rights down there to make it as a cop.

Also, if you're a cop in Bmore for more than 3 years, its literally impossible to get a police job in any other city.  Most cities don't want Bmore cops because they are so aggressive as a byproduct of their work environment.  I've never been to Bmore, just what I heard from him
