The government is about to shut down? For what? I don't follow politics at all.

My car wouldn't start this morning and and I completely blame the mechanic for it for killing the battery. Hate him now

They can't pass a funding bill. So my rudimentary understanding of the situation is that republicans don't want to fund obamacare which is tied to the federal funding as a whole. So they are basically saying we won't agree to fund the government if it includes funding obamacare. Right now the GOP is saying we will fund the governement if we can delay healthcare reform for another year. So now they are at a stand still and the fiscal year begins tomorrow. So if no agreement is reached the government won't receive funding to continue to pay workers

I love the state of music right now. There are alot of innovative things going. Avicci(sp?) made a country dance song and Lorde made a harmonious song with a hip hop beat and every seems to be using a lot of bass or keeping that dancy/techno theme going. Hell, I even like the "I'm into you" song by Paramore. Rap is like the most non-progressive genre, but, I will always have an ear for it.

I love that every body is basically given a fair chance nowadays because of the internet.

Take FIDLAR in my case, I've been jamming to these dudes since they dropped their demos, and then when I heard them on GTA V I just smiled because just last year theses guys weren't getting any air time, but now they're playing big festivals and touring the world, they'll never blow up HUGE but I'm happy of where they're at now.

I just overheard that my seat is being moved out of the corner cube......... Now I will have to sit out in the open next to people. I really came to enjoy my seat in the corner away from everyone. I was alone to my devices, got to use my ipod, got to hop on NT and no one had a good view in case I scrolled past scandalous stuff, etc etc. I should just raise a complaint.

I dont want to sound like I'm complaining for no reason but I really loved this seat man. It was the best seat around, and I know exactly whats going to happen when I get moved to the middle. I'm gonna get sucked into dozens of conversations I dont care about. When I was in the corner, that couldnt happen, but now I wont be able to escape it.
