Argument in the thread about nothing in the music forum about DMV and what it really encapsulates.

I had no clue that people thought the DMV was just DC and its closely surrounding Area. I just figured it was all of DC-MD-VA....hence DMV. Buts some jimmies were rustled about people in bmore saying they live in the DMV....i understand there are different cultures as far as DC vs Bmore are concerned. But when ever i hear DMV i consider myself a part of that....and i live in northern MD above bmore even.

I mean i never "rep" any place. Whenever anybody says "where do you live" that doesn't know the MD area i just say north of bmore. But the acronym is DMV.....by its nature...it should count all the states. I just didn't know people from the DC metro area would be butt-hurt if i ever said yeah im from the DMV, aka i live in maryland.
