Away for a few days with my wife (first time in years it’s been just us) and for a while this afternoon we couldn’t get back in our hotel - it was surrounded by cops and fire trucks with it all taped off. When we asked they kept saying it was fine and nothing to worry about - but wouldn’t say what it was.

When we went out later from further away you could see there was someone sitting on the balcony of the top floor. Apparently it’s a woman from Chicago and she’s been up there for over 7 hours now threatening to jump.

Still crazy. We just checked out but there’s a coming the parking lot. The exit is right below the balcony they’re still sitting on so we can’t get the car out.

It started at 2:30 yesterday apparently so they’ve been up there for over 19 hours now. Can’t imagine even if they’re on something that it will last much longer?

Going home. All resolved after almost exactly 24 hours. Must have talked them down because they’re just taking down the roadblocks and stuff.
