Away for a few days with my wife (first time in years it’s been just us) and for a while this afternoon we couldn’t get back in our hotel - it was surrounded by cops and fire trucks with it all taped off. When we asked they kept saying it was fine and nothing to worry about - but wouldn’t say what it was.

When we went out later from further away you could see there was someone sitting on the balcony of the top floor. Apparently it’s a woman from Chicago and she’s been up there for over 7 hours now threatening to jump.

Just mentally note what you ordered and round up. That's what I do

i get the concept but in reality it’s pretty hard to do that when there’s shared appetizers. And when it’s a group of 10 or more. You’re trusting everyone to be able to do good accurate math and take tax and tip into account properly. Usually whoever ends up footing the bill gets royally screwed in that equation or some people just way overpay
