I hate that kind of a scenario. I guess you might need a lawyer. if surrendering a firearm would get you into that much of trouble, I would just have it buried in the backyard or threw it in the sea. I believe you can use that argument. it doesn't make sense that you would surrender a firearm if you are doing something illegal. those technicality b.s. always are a hindrance.Depends on the country. In mine you need a hunting or sports shooting license to apply for a firearm license. Having those prerequisites in no way guarantees you can pass a firearm permit application, which also includes a psychological evaluation and testimony before a commission that will then rule on your application. Weapon choice and ammunition capacity is very limited though.
I've never held a hunting, sports shooting or firearm license so I was granted a few months of legal immunity after inheriting 6 guns from my dad. I only found paperwork for 2 of them, the Beretta and Browning you see in the pink paper contract, so all I had to do then was provide the paperwork to a licensed gun store to legally transfer ownership of those guns to them. It was very quick and easy.
I turned over the other guns to the police for confiscation towards the end of my legal immunity because I couldn't find paperwork to legally sell them within the immunity period.
Police now seems to accuse me of illegally withholding that Browning for years, and thereby lying to them multiple times when I denied that a few months ago and told them the gunstore owned it since June 23 2017. It makes absolutely no sense, especially because as you can see, I turned over a Beretta to that gunstore at the exact same time in that same contract and the cops haven't asked a single question about that Beretta.
Well I'm definitely not wasting my money on a lawyer. I don't know what the gunstore's role is in all this, what exactly they've been telling the police or why but I have multiple documents proving my innocence. I have the original contract and contemporaneous memos from a value assessment my notary prepared for the inheritance, which also shows that I legally turned over that Browning (and the Beretta) to the gun store in June 23 2017.I hate that kind of a scenario. Now that is one funny sequence of events.

I'll try to keep this as concise as possible and underline the key parts. Just read the latter if you wanna skip the wall of text.least now you got that rep in these streets my g!!!!!
srs, you knocking doors down????
it's ridiculous to be honest. practically milking the franchise as much as they can. on the otherhand, I'd prefer it over making sequel after sequel over and over again. Star Wars, cars, monster inc, toy story, ice age, how to pet your dragon and more......So what Disney villan is getting a movie next? Jaffar? Scar? Ursula the Octopus? I didn't know people were even asking for these

Well a few months ago the police came to my house seeking to ask me some questions about a Browning gun. I legally sold it on June 23 2017 to a local licensed gun store but for some reason the police
I was asleep at the time so the police briefly talked to my mom. They didn't explicitly accuse me of a crime then but did ask her multiple suggestive variations of "Maybe [my name] hid it from you and withheld it all those years?"
Afterwards I tried to contact the police to ask what all that was about and offer my cooperation but the only response I got came months later and said they were no longer interested in talking to me.
Fast forward to today, I receive an envelope from the police in my mailbox that only contains a document. No accompanying letter or anything.
The document is a firearm sale contract with that gunstore I mentioned earlier. The problem is that I have never seen this document before and yet my signature is on it. More importantly, according to the document I supposedly turned over the Browning to that gunstore on March 24 this year.
As I said before, I legally relinquished ownership of that Browning and a Beretta at the same time on June 23 2017.
See the problem here? This supposed contract with the gunstore that the police sent me claims that transfer of the Browning only took place on March 24 this year, which would've been after the police came to my house asking questions about that gun.
In that (false) version of events, that document incriminates me for withholding that gun since 2017, lying to the police multiple times about it, lying on tax paperwork and supposedly only getting rid of the gun shortly after the police started asking those questions this year.
I have the original contract with the gun store that should prove my innocence, as well as contemporaneous memos from my notary's 2017 value assessment and tax paperwork for my inheritance, which also detail when I inherited that Browning and when I turned it over to the gun store.
It's 100% an authentic mail from the police, it contains info that only they or the gunstore could have. Again, the envelope only contained that document and there was no accompanying explicit accusation of any crimes but it certainly comes off that way.
I can't make sense of the how or why of this investigation though. I can say with 100% certainty that the document the police sent me is a complete farce, I've never seen it before, and my signature was fraudulently put on that contract.
Clearly that document was provided to them by the gunstore, so they're the ones falsely incriminating me to the police with a forged signature.
I’m not sure. There’s clearly a huge mistake in whatever abomination of an investigation this is.obviously, they made a mistake. is there a law there that compensates you for your trouble?
Bruh they played take it to the house by Trick Daddy while talking about the Heat on TNT
perfect execution
