i just noticed one of my managers updating their info linkedin, i am not sure if that's a sign that we might not have a job when this whole coronavirus pandemic is over
they haven't said anything about layoffs or updated the team about our jobs, but i better start working on my resume is anyone even going to be hiring

I’m wondering that too. Don’t think anyone is looking to hire right now for the most part. I’m waiting till after April to start applying to different places.

Speaking of the virus, I’m relieved and super grateful to say that my cousin in Las Vegas is finally out of the hospital and feeling better after his bout with Corona. He thought he was going to die due to how little he was able to breath so he signed consent paperwork to take some pills. He said it was absolutely incredible how quickly his body responded to the meds. The symptoms were almost gone in minutes, he couldn’t believe it. I swear man that news had us all smiling and super grateful he’s much better. However, his girlfriend is still in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator. We’re hoping she gets better soon so that maybe she can take the same meds.

Oh wow man, I’m happy she didn’t require the use of a ventilator. She might be one of the lucky ones that recover at home with no serious assistance. I really do hope she gets better soon. I wonder how well antibiotics help? Seems like it did wonders for her.

It took a while. She actually could’ve died because of her weight and no one would have known. My friend had to call her couple times a day for a week. Pretty messed up.

Nope. Almost all of the family is in the Bay, except for one sister that’s married in Boston, some sort of professor there. She wanted a new start since she wasn’t able to get a decent job here, moved there without a job but luckily she found one at NYU and then got her masters there without having to pay tuition fees since she works there.
