511 is Slim and 512 is Slim tapered, might just be me but 512 feels tighter in the thighs.

I see...I think tapered is better but not a fan of skinny jeans.

I think 522 is Slim Tapered with a higher rise, if I'm not mistaken. Levi's has a fit for just about everyone.

What’s higher rise?? Hahah all of this is new to me, that’s why I just go with 501 and get it tailored. Instead of understanding all of this.

The rise of a jean refers to the measurement between the bottom of the crotch and the top of the waist. So higher rise means this measurement is longer and the jeans will sit higher, but not as extreme as the way some women wear high waisted jeans.

I'm pretty sure there's a 501 tapered if the 501 fits you better.
