the thread about nothing...

I had one of those plantain sandwich joints for the first time recently.

Was excellent.

Very few sandwiches I don't like

sweet crepes > savory crepes

i was in paris and a filipino nun put me on to crepes... never had one before then.
it's one food i enjoy watching people make.

theres a filipino run crepe place in the Fairfax High flea market, wifey and i get nutella with condensed milk whenever we go

so good

I will probably hunt for a spot that serves a nice Cuban sandwich this weekend.

Usually what I do is I get the frozen Cuban sandwich from trader Joe's and heat it up with extra butter on a frying pan, and buy extra pickles on the side

....

Cheesecake factory has Cubano bites as appetizers and they're awesome

Hell thinking of going back to cheesecake factory just for two orders of Cubano bites and drinks

*edit

I'm sorry I misremembered the name. It's called crispy Cuban rolls at cheesecake factory

waffles are my goat...
then french toast, crepes then pancakes.

i had some pecan pie french toast this weekend and it was amazing

Im not really a crepe fan, only cause it doesn't fill me with its skinny self, i need my pancakes or waffles.

Never had the cuban sandwhich but a mexican torta is at a tie with PBJ sandwhich

How you look at these beauties and put them behind waffles and CREPES is baffling.

Y'all must never had a proper stack of pancakes to be disrespecting their rank like that.

Pancakes are cool but Crepes and Waffles are hardbody

Also how did PBJ sandwich enter this discussion. Most basic sandwich.

PPJ is criminally slept on. GOAT sandwich

But as far as fancier sandwich. A good gyro > a good Cuban to me

But it counts as a sandwich...cheesesteak>>>>>>
