My suggestion is to not bid again until the remaining hour to 30 minutes.

If you continue to outbid the person, they'll keep bidding.

Or another suggestion is bid the max amount you'll be willing to pay for it.

Yeah I just got anxious yesterda for no real reason I usually outbid the highest bidder in the last 5 minutes then set my max price for the bot to do his work
