Had an interview for an internship today at a municipal government type place that I absolutely hated. After I was shown around the office and talked to a few folks I knew I wasn't getting that offer (haven't even heard back yet). I like a relatively diverse environment but it was nothing but conservative, "we do it this way because it works, why we would change?" type of white people.

Lasted for an hour and I was ready to get out of there. :x

Ignorance is always bliss....always

Its why young love is always so (for lack of better word) beautiful.  Neither person knows what it is like to be hurt.  They are blindly in love.  All it takes is that one mess up...and its like your world went from "everything is awesome" to "i have a general distrust for all humans".  It goes from "i don't care what anyone says we are in love" to "damn....everyone was right".  Then you spend the rest of your adulthood trying to recreate that feeling that you almost never really can because you know too much now.

Looking at my account be in the negatives makes me realize something about my current job. At most I can work 28 hours a week, which isn't guaranteed. At my hourly rate, the most I can make in a week is 233, so 466 every pay period before taxes. After taxes its about 380. I'm making in reality to pocket only 190 bucks a week working sometimes 5 days. My job officially sucks and I'm getting a better one.
