Just bored and figured it promote some sort of discussion.

I'm surprised this thread doesn't have more traction

Naw, I get it. It seems like most attempts to initiate a list discussion stem from boredom :lol

I assume it hasn't really taken off because it's in the Sneaker Showcase section, which most people tend to pop into, go to specific threads, and pop out of.

I've always had a personal measure for buying shoes. If I keep coming back to a shoe and look at it 6,7,8, etc times. Then I should buy it. If I look at a shoe 2-3 times and say those are fire, it's not enough imo. Of course for a long time I had the advantage of working in a store where I could look at them a good portion of the day, but the ability to analyze a shoe and think about WHY you like it as opposed to copping the newest retro in X colorway goes a long way. I've copped a lot but passed on a few. It's a skill you develop over time that helps you save money. I know so many people with buyer's remorse.

I employ the same method. Like, unless I love the shoe after a couple weeks of really looking at them (meaning that I usually pass on pairs that come out of nowhere by default) then I'm only willing to buy it on a strong discount.

I have almost zero "filler" or "fat" in my closet from doing this.

yea ive gotten better

i was coping it all

now i try to stick to og c/w mainly

Feel the same way you guys do. When I was younger I wanted everything then my feet kept growing and growing so I really think about if I'm gonna wear a shoe years from now.

588 a pair.

That's a shame, dude probably caking after all that though.

Any natural grip enhancers? I'll be playing in a slippery court this weekend. Don't want to get an injury lol

Rip to your ankles. Grip enhancers not going to save you from getting crossed

Not srs

I fluctuate between the black/red 1's and black/cement 3's being the goat Air Jordan's

I'm contemplating either buying a pair of black mid top AF1's next weekend or ID'ing a pair of black hi tops with a white check. Decisions....

Tarp Roshes are the goat roshes. Those with a black tee and some river washed 510's >>>

2011 concords aren't bad at all. I've only worn them about 3 times but I want the bottoms to yellow. I'm thinking about jumping in some puddles...

Im not even a huge fan of XI's but I think I'm gonna purchase some OG black/red XI's as a birfday gift to myself.

I wish I doubled on Royals when I had the chance. But I have rarely any blue in my closet and I have enough shoes as is. I've worn them twice since Feb of 2013 :{ hopefully they'll last me the next 15+ years. Only worn my black/red's twice :x but I doubled on shadows :)

Vintage midsole infra Air Max 90's will be my main shoe for fall.

-end rant

Wore my 2011 concords for the first time today. Let's just say I'm going to be wearing them more than my 2000's. I'm restoring those joints and stashing them. 2011's are like night and day compared to them.

so that big a dif huh
to me it is. What's crazy is my 2000's are a size 11 and I went a full size UP for the 2011's. The heel hurts and the mesh and "leather" upper feels very stiff.

wow congrats on them 2000s yea stash them then

I bought my 2000 concords in '02 for $190. I got lucky. They have separated but are easily fixable. I'm fixing them and putting them away. I've worn them and they feel WAY more comfortable.

You should see my fire red IVs :x

I sent them off to get restored way back around 2005 by a guy that claimed he did good work

Long story short... He MANGLED them

I can't get rid of them tho :{ I'm too attached
