I think I’m right behind you. I just received the deadline for 10/25. I’m guessing I have another 10-15 hours.

Finished Metaphor.

Excellent game. I actually liked it more than Rebirth. My only criticisms would be the 2nd playthrough trophy and the length. Shave 10-15 hours off and I think it's even better.

DQ3 next.
Hold on, do you have to craft every mask and vessel?

Looking to work through these titles before the end of the year.

Final Fantasy 16 (PC)
Rebirth (might put on hold to start over on PC)
Metaphor (most likely next up after FF16)

Masks aren't bad. There is an ingredient for vessels I only ever found 2, which are how many you need without farming a specific enemy.

Try and get them before you finish. You'll need access to all archetypes before being able to finish masks.

A great way to kill some time if you can access YT at work. Their top 5 aligns with my top 5 too.

Puts you right into the action as well against fake Yuna and then when the real one shows up when you’re on the run?!

VII is the undisputed GOAT intro followed by, in no particular order, IV, VI, IX, X.

What RPGs are you guys looking forward to the most this year? I'm pretty hyped for the Suikoden and Lunar collections. I'm also excited for the DQ HD-2D I&II games dropping.

Threads of Time looks really good. Pokemon Legends AZ should be a banger as well.

I kind of forgot about Pokémon until my son and I were discussing Arceus. I’m not really looking to buy anything for Switch until we get some news from Nintendo about the Switch 2. I’m really hoping we get some updates that will improve OG Switch games.

Almost done DQ3 HD2D. Its a great experience, but some of the trophies are a bit much. Probably won't push for the plat, but I'll keep a cloud save just in case I want to jump back in and feel like grinding mini medal locations.

Been playing FF16 and really like the game but wish it felt more like an actual RPG than an action game. And to be honest it doesn’t even do that much justice to the action genre.

There just doesn’t seem to be any reason to explore the gameplay and skill/build system. Everything else is on point though.

That game has some of my favorite fights/set pieces in the series.
the intro fight between ifrit and Phoenix, the encounter with Titan Lost, the Bahamut fight, and Odin were my favorites.

Bruh that’s all the fights

Seriously though, that Titan piece was pure excellence.

I’m glad you posted this because I might just snag this for the Steam Deck or Switch and just play and enjoy. Sometimes trophies kills my enjoyment, especially grindy ones.

What's strange to me is that it has a 28% platinum rate on PSNProfiles. You would need a guide for the medals, not to mention all monsters and all spells which would require planning and some grinding.

I’m always surprised at the games that have high completion percentages and how fast they are completed but then I remind myself it’s a trophy hunting site
