The RETRO Gaming Thread!

Snagged this of marketplace today for $120. I’ve been wanting another one with a box. This had Diddy Kong Racing and an aftermarket controller with the OG stuff

I remember a friend of mine down the street and me used to have 1 on 1 Super Mario Kart battles. It was a nice break from doing the races. I'd lose 90 percent of the time, but he was the one who owned the game, so he got to play a lot more.

I think Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection was the last one on one fighting game in person I played serious. The closest arcade to me got Street Fighter 4 kinda late to experience that.

I used to think online fighting games with near perfect net code would be a dream come true, but I really do miss what we lost with arcades not being a place to gather for fighting games anymore.

There was a final boss!? Lmao…I wanted to like this game so bad man, but mess was boring and hard to figure out

They hyped that game up like crazy back when it released

My guess is that some of the sales were parents thinking it was a good game for their kids.

I tried watching a play through of Ecco earlier, fell asleep like 5 minutes in.

From what I heard though, the music was pretty good.
