They were definitely terrible versions due to the RAM limitations (unless playing against the same characters). Them Saturn RAM carts were god sends.

I deadass have put the cheat code in, put this song on, and blacked out my tv screen and went to sleep to this lol. Couldn’t get enough of it as a kid. I was horrible at Sonic for a minute, I could not get pass Marble Zone 3 for a long time. The joy it was when I finally made it. I had only heard it in the lil level previews during the start menu. I had Sonic frustrated for a good few minutes while I enjoyed the tune for a while lol.

I really like the pixelation in the graphics and the geometric feel of the first one.
Very crisp & clean.

This voice over and music takes me back man! Played the hell out of this game in the late 90s and early 2000s, as it was my only football game until I borrowed NCAA 05 from my boy.
