I dug the set up tho. Seeing him think he had it all figured out, and was about to finesse again cleanly, only for EVERYTHING to backfire….leading him and his family/team to literally rock bottom was dope to see.

About to see him get it out the mud, literally . The tunnel scene was

A lot of people in real life that I thought would watch it, simply aren’t. And it’s so strange, because you think off the name alone….it would bring in the Batman crowd…

But in my personal experience, that’s what’s been turning people off. They just assume it’s another comic book, streaming series

Last episode was good, but a little TOO quick. I wished they showed more how he really got his underground operation up and running, and how he’s been really hiding, working with the community for insulation/improvement & help + setting up his connects for his drops. We just opened episode 6 up, and everything was in perfect motion off of two plants …then he made a speech about the underdogs with beers and boom lol

His climb back to me, was the most interesting. But I think this first season is more concerned with showing how the environment (Gotham) turns him and others into “villains”. I’m not mad at that, I just prefer the former.

Definitely wished they had fleshed that out more but I get they got a point to get to without meandering too long.
