The Penguin - HBO Original Limited Series Sundays 9PM

Even with all the evil **** he did, you couldn't help but sympathize with Oz because he presented as a tragic underdog who just wanted to be seen and respected, and there is a certain level of humanity in that. After I watched him kill Vic though, my sympathy went *poof* Dude is pure evil and needs to get got.

On a brighter note, this show has exhibited some really fine acting. It'll be criminal if Collin doesn't win a golden globe for this.

...

I understand why he did it. Caring about people was what left him most vulnerable. He knew he had to make everything business.

See he said that (as he was doing what he did at the end), but his message has no real meaning—like his messages all season. For example, if what happened to his mom at the hospital hadn’t, he wouldn’t have what what he did to Vic. He thinks that’s what makes him most vulnerable but he’s the one compounding bad decisions with those people and causing it to be like that.

Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner

They showed her was an S-tier piece of crap when he left his brothers to die because he wanted to be the only one to cuddle with his mom. guy has been messed up and only cares about himself since he was young.

**** a golden globe, he's getting a whole Emmy :lol

Props to Matt Reeves and him for bringing back unreedemable villains.

It's still ok to have bad guys you don't have to root for :lol

Everybody and their mother has been obsessed with anti-heros as of late but that characterization doesn't fit with a lot of CBM villains.

They did an excellent job

Yeah, I don't think most care about golden globes. Maybe those who lose out on Emmys and Oscars.

This show will def rack up Emmys in the major categories. What had me wondering is how it would've done against last year's Shogun. Shogun was epic and also had amazing performances but the penguin and batman are well known characters and had the HBO magic behind it.
