I'm hoping that the next update they add some of the basic staples to the game.I think that's about fair. Maybe a 7. It's fun in a vacuum but man, when you compare it to other mmos it's severely lacking even the basic staples
Not interested at all in PSVR
so how can you say? lol its pretty accurateI usually trust IGN but The Division can't be 6.7/10
I never played the game by the way
so how can you say? lol its pretty accurate
what score would you have gave it?
The reviewer is usually pretty solid. I read the review and don't disagree with anything other than the score he leveled.
IGN's editors have taken a downturn for the last few years... not just Colin and Greg leaving. Heck, Greg wasn't even doing reviews for his last 2 years there and Colin was doing fewer and fewer being the lead of the Playstation team.
Jared Petty knows his RPG's so I trust his reviews in that genre. Marty Sliva usually has an opinion I side with. But other than those two, I tend to look elsewhere for reviews. Kotaku's Jason Schreier is usually in-line with my thoughts on a game.
No, it's just that Diablo is basically unplayable on PS4 unless you have ppl to run w/ because the game is nothing but modded lobbies.
You minus whale just get into Division because it's basically a Diablo clone.
7.5 woulda been my rating as well and like youve basically stated it has great potential to be a great game especially with more content and tweaks to the PvP
As it released, 7.5.
With improvements to PVP and end-game content, it would go higher. I understand the promises from the developer and the nature of an MMO in having a stream of postgame content stretched out, but I don't think they handled it well at all. In their defense I don't think they anticipated PVP being this big an issue and assumed it would tide people over until the raid.
6.7 seems low to me. I have gripes to be sure. However, the game looks phenomenal, plays extremely well, and most importantly, is a hell of alot of fun.
Similiar to Destiny, having people discontent because they want more of your product isn't exactly the worst problem to have.
MOBA; I have a friend who is really into them and tried it on PC. He said it isn't great in it's current state. He said Smite is much better right now, but that Paragon has potential. Just as it sits right now, there aren't enough heroes. He loved the graphics and the presentation, but didn't like the speed and that you can jump, rendering alot of ultimate moves potentially useless. And what's good with this Paragon game that is free in the PS Store?
That PSVR hype is real. I was really considering grabbing a PSMove used, I saw them at GameStop for $19.99 last week. I wonder how much they'll be after the announcement or if they're even in stock.
