Rest mode. Had a couple scares with power outages the past few weeks, had to buy a serge protector.

Used to put it on rest mode until I found out I lost a couple million GMP while playing Metal Gear. Apparently some of your resources gets stored online.

I turn it off.
My ambient room-temps are warmish plus dust is a constant issue... no need to keep the machine and fan running constantly.

I'd love to, but i'm currently upgrading the hard drive. PS4 outta commission for a few hours. I'll send an invite to our personal Siege community, pending BULLY BOB's approval.
Also I know terrorist hunt runs at 30 fps fixed, but don't judge the game based on the single player, multiplayer casual and ranked are both 60 fps and its glorious.

bet. Shoot me an inv when u see me on. I'm liking it a lot so far, but the hit detection and aiming is a little off. Hard to strafe and shoot.

I turn it off if I'm leaving, but if I'm just gonna be away for a 30 mins, ill put it in RM.

I turn it completely off if I'm going to sleep but put it rest mode if I'm going out so that It can download updates, queue up game downloads remotely or use remote play on my phone
I don't think the fan is on constantly in rest mode unless it's downloading something.

In the past, I've heard a slight 'hum', so I just assumed that it was the fan. I guess if the processor's temp drops low enough, the fan will stop... but it never gets cold enough here.

Not done yet, went to bed at midnight with 3 hours left to transfer to my PC. I'm doing the whole xfer to PC then xfer to old HDD and restore from there. I didn't wanna lose PT. Now I'm stuck at work
I'll def be on this weekend and the upcoming weeks. Get your operators up.
