If your local Walmart isn't taking pre orders anymore your best bet is going to be try hitting up a local Costco on release day.
That's if there is a Costco store where you live. From what I heard the East Coast does not have that many Costco stores for some reason.

they did that because the ps3 sold horribly and it was too expensive. i see the price drops being switched with xbox one doing all the cuts first.

it did weigh alot. Thing was a fingerprint magnet too. The P of 'PlayStation came off on mine. Joint was a Laystation
