The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Who the **** would want to watch tv and play a video game at the same time? lmao

xbox-one-snap-action-demo.jpg

takes up too much real estate imo. If I want to watch something I have a spare 32inch tv I hook up.
man nah im okay lol, I can barely concentrate in a videogame nevermind tv at the same time

^lots of ppl
I'm pretty sure you know ppl who have to have a bball game in the background, even though they're not watching it.

I use the multitasking to have music playing while I'm playing.

Then you've also got the ppl who are achievement hunters who snap yt vids.
So they can check something on the side of the screen instead of putting it in the background.
It's really useful.

^i don't snap tv, but that's def. a positive for ppl who always have their tvs on in the background of whatever else they're doing.

[h1]PS4[emoji]8482[/emoji] Remote Play now available for Xperia[emoji]8482[/emoji] Z3 series (Z2 Series in coming weeks)[/h1]

Following the introduction of Xperia[emoji]8482[/emoji] Z3 series at IFA in Berlin, Sony Mobile Communications (Sony Mobile) and Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCE) have today launched PS4[emoji]8482[/emoji] Remote Play for Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.

From today, owners of any Xperia Z3 series smartphone or tablet can download the PS4 Remote Play application to start playing their favourite PlayStation[emoji]174[/emoji]4 games anywhere at home on their smartphone or tablet with the DUALSHOCK[emoji]174[/emoji]4 Wireless Controller via home Wi-Fi. This latest addition to the PS4 Remote Play family gives gamers even more options to remotely play their PS4 games away from the TV for those times when the TV isn’t available.

As an added bonus, and following the positive reception of PS4 Remote Play for the Xperia Z3 series, Sony Mobile and SCE will be bringing this innovative feature to the Xperia Z2 series in the coming weeks*. Both Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet will soon be able to connect to PS4 and offer PS4 Remote Play so current Xperia Z2 series owners can also get in on the action and connect remotely to their PS4 games. Full details on the release of PS4 Remote Play for the Xperia Z2 series will be announced in the coming weeks.

PS4 Remote Play is also available for PlayStation[emoji]174[/emoji]Vita and PlayStation[emoji]174[/emoji]TV, which is rolling out in Europe starting November 14. However Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2 series will be the only smartphones and tablets to offer this unique gaming experience.

To make PS4 Remote Play even easier, there’s a range of different accessories and ways to get connected and started on the game – whether it’s using the GCM10 Game Control Mount accessory with your Xperia Z3 and DUALSHOCK[emoji]174[/emoji]4 Wireless Controller or setting up your Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact as a screen on the BSC10 Bluetooth Speaker Dock.

For further details on how PS4 Remote Play works with your Xperia smartphone or tablet, check out the below video or visit www.sonymobile.com/remoteplay.

I haven't used it before but doesn't PS4's new update allow you to stream music in the background from a USB drive?

Yea, when my music unlimited runs out I'll use it.

Right now I play online Madden, stream the game and music with no issues.

Strange. Certain people post in here and the conversation seems to always swing to Xbox. Seems like certain people would be better served posting in the thread related to Xbox. The system certain people actually own.

This is why I just stay in the popular neutral gaming thread. No discrimination between owners of different systems

Whiny white girl: Oh my god. The xb1 is being mentioned again, but not in a negative light. I'm going to passive aggressively complain about it.

I wish there was a way to unclutter the Main screen , all I wanna see is my game library and system video and music, I hate seeing those sony music and sharing apps

I don't own the xbox one yet but will soon. I'm not partial to either system, their both relatively cheap with good titles.

Does the USB not support external hard drives? I can't get my external 1TB to work. It says this USB will not work, file not supported. I made a MUSIC folder and still nothing. I don't see why I can't just plug n play.

Flash drives only I am thinking. I imagine they have a capped limited to the amount of storage on the device you use as well.
