I want this so bad but bc there were no pre-ordering bonuses, I'm going to wait a month or so maybe even black friday. Besides I'm still very much consumed by Destiny that I can hardly even play 2K.

I only played Evil Within for about an hour. I had to be at work at 0630 and I was already tired so I didn't play long. That game is scary good and a little hard. Playing with my Turtle Beaches on had me on my toes. I really enjoyed what I played so far. I'm glad to see it getting good reviews.

I almost forgot that PS TV drops today! Has anyone picked it up yet? I'm hoping my wife copped it for my birthday which is tomorrow.

I like the idea of Playstation TV...I'll probably never play vita games on it...

but for $100...if it can do well remote playing PS4 and if it supports hulu and netflix, it would be a great addition to my office TV.

To me, it's $ony's media player.

I was just talking to my boy about this around the time of the US open.  I was saying we needed a proper next gen tennis SIM.

After researching it, I don't think its gonna happen. They don't sell that well, and it costs a ton of money to license player likenesses, so its probably just a break even proposition for the dev.

I know Sony probably wants to push its own media offerings, but thats a losing battle at this point.  Netflix and Hulu are ingrained in the minds of consumers already.  You have to make those available on any media box.

The Vita has Youtube and Netflix though.

Maybe they wanted a redesign for the PSTV itself but should have included it in already.

I own a PS4, any reason to own a XB1?

I was on the fence for almost a year before I made the jump to next gen.

XB1 convinced me to jump.

This all depends on which exclusive features and games you like.

I'm one of the most unbiased gamers on this site.

My experience with the xb1 is superior to my experience with the ps4.

xb1 pros:

• Regular updates that adds fan picked features to the console
• multitasking
• suspend/resume. You turn off your xb1, then turn it on the next day. You're back in the game exactly where left out.
• non-gimmicky controller. The impulse triggers add little subtleties to games and the rubber lining on the thumbsticks adds some grip. Which enhance the experience.
• It updates games/downloads purchases, even if the console is off.
• smartglass app, it's basically xbox facebook
• The OS makes everything easy to find and you can bookmark certain games/apps like the 360.
• You can smoothly play games off of an external hdd.

xb1 cons:

• They tried to screw their customers over. Then they did more 180s than Tony Hawk because they ps4 was whooping them in sales.

ps4 pros:

• They didn't try to screw their customers over.
• more single player exclusives announced
• remote play. You can stream games to your ps vita or your vita tv

ps4 cons:

• gimmicky controller: the light bar and speaker serve no purpose.
• little to no regular software updates that add fan picked features.
• The OS freezes up/lags sometimes.
• mobile "app" that just links you to the sony site.
• short controller battery life due to gimmicks on the controller
• The OS is a cluttered mess. It doesn't even have alphabetized organization.

If you like the games exclusive to the XBone then get it but apart from that I can't see why you'll need to get one. Multiplatform games run/look better on the PS4.
