I don’t understand going at AD or even Vogel.

AD is #1 in the league in paint points and points off post ups. His jumper is off & occasionally defensively he gets beat by a quicker guard/wing on the switch but by & large he’s still been a superstar.

The problem is the team doesn’t any defensive perimeter talent. AD at the 5 and you switch everything 1-5 so he ends up on the perimeter. Then guys get beat off the bounce so he has to rotate 30 feet to protect the rim.

It’s the exact same problem Utah had with the Clippers defensively

AD was on the All-Time 75 list. Many people regularly talk about him as a Top 5 talent in the league. Chuck apparently feels someone like that should be carrying his team to a better than .500 record.

They want him to have the same impact as Giannis. But he’s not Giannis.

Going at Vogel is silly though.

great points. I think the difference between Utah and The Lakers is Lebron can protect the rim as a faux 5 in the playoffs. He’s not doing that to his full capabilities in the regular season though.

the problem is very simple. Lebron wants to coast during the regular season. That’s fine, but to do that the Lakers need to be an offensive team in the regular season. You cant coast thru the regular season if you identify as a defensive team.

I'm sure there are some adjustments that Vogel could make (as could pretty much every coach), but it isn't his fault that the front office stripped him of the team's perimeter defenders and replaced them with guys that are known to be terrible on that end.

So who is ROY so far? People had Jalen Green locked in before the season started.

"I was a Lakers fan, too, before he said that," Rittenhouse told the news site. "I was really pissed off when he said that because I liked LeBron. And then I’m like, you know, what, f—k you, LeBron."

Despite the hurtful jab, Rittenhouse does not plan to sue the famous baller, Blaze reported.

Yeah gotta trade Dame now. No CJ definitely out for the season. And Dame wants that extension. Indy definitely locking in a 3 way deal some how
