They're ok, somethings missing on them.
Edit. Gold flywire would make them better.
Judging by the box and overall ASG theme I can see Nike really went the simple toned down route in regards to design and presentation this year
Not really sure why majority isn't going crazy over the packs though after all the different complaints of things being too over the top the past few years
You would think these would be right up everyone's alley but again it seems as if everyone wants what they can't have
Give them wild, flashy, vibrant colorways and themes they say too much is going on, give them simple with a splash of flash they say they're too plain |I
+1I swear I've seen a lot guys I here kicking themselves for passing on ASG 7's, Big Bangs are still a desired shoe. Area 72 seemed to very well received and seems the GK's were a favorite of everyone last year a d we all got to eat with that release. So I don't really think people are tired of loud CW's, just EVERY weekend doesn't need a loud release.
But the ASG pack is always anticipated and we all would like a cohesive theme with the translation properly executed on the shoe, which up until this year was on point IMO. And as someone from the Metro NJ/NY area I feel they let us down.
This years pack as far as ASG shoes go are so so, but as regular CW's I guess they are ok. Guess we all want more from an "event" shoe.
A good example of less is more was with the 2011 All Star pack. All 3 were great and the Lebron 8 V2 all stars are one of my favorite Lebrons to date.
+1
With the Orlando pack 3 years ago, it was the first time Nike made the "glow in the dark" big with the soles on the shoes, and the galaxy print in each shoe was huge.
The Area 72's there was that "Newspaper" wrapping inside, the cool box and that uniform vibe across the line with the "extra terrestrial" feel to each shoe.
Last year we got the Gumbo liners, boxes, the Tarot Cards in each box, and each shoe was set off uniquely with Glow in the Dark features, different on each shoe.
This year, the only real uniformity is the gradient piece of each shoe, the box is cool, but there isn't that "it" factor detail on each shoe like the past. There' nothing that makes us say "whoa" for each shoe really. I like the entire pack this year (but like the Kobes the least because of the silhouette, not the colorway) but don't feel this pack has any "NYC" persona at all.
8's were great, 7's as well, but I for one was happy Nike changed it up and got away from the standard "blue" (East) vs. "Red" (West) theme, that was getting tired.A good example of less is more was with the 2011 All Star pack. All 3 were great and the Lebron 8 V2 all stars are one of my favorite Lebrons to date.
All Star Pack is boring this year, IMO. I don't think they're ever gonna be able to top the Galaxy Pack, but at least don't make it so... boring.
It's NYC. Make a Broadway or Wall Street theme or something. It doesn't have to be boring. All star theme this year is.... Boring

Sry if already posted but I'm probably gonna try to cop the ASG's online are they Twitter link or anything special like that?

I've always felt that too many early pics of shoes actually decreases the value or hype factor. Then it feels like too many people have them. Does anyone else feel this way?
Any sale on the Datas? Thanks.
