Yes Ill keep going because I don't like the XII yet...why am I in this thread...

The thing with High Quality headphones is they need to be driven by high quality gear and listen to HQ sources. So just plugging your Cans into your phone while walking aint gonna sound alot better than Beats anyways (possibly even on par). You would spend at least as much on the Headphones as an Amp/DAC to get your moneys worth.

Its a slippery slope to audio Nirvana. $$$$$

Yeah earbuds sound better but they do burn out quickly. Damn near depleted my local Verizon store of the black skull candy joints. I think they sound better than beats tbh. It's all status with that stuff. Look at what I can afford oppose to quality. Like this shoe I guess. Are those blackouts legit and releasing? Not to shabby but why a clear sole on "supposed" beaters?

This is a production issue, not a design issue. They've been running plastic eyelets on their kicks for decades now.

The factory cheapened out on the glue and this is what you get. You'd be surprised at how often this happens when you outsource manufacturing. They (the factory) promises one thing and delivers another.

I'd totally buy those PEs. Both pairs I would buy or might ID if/when that option becomes available to us. They would be some of my collection shoes though, definitely wouldn't wear them because I wouldn't want them to get dirty. Any type of dirty or faded/yellowing white drives me crazy

Still the only CW I'm anticipating.

Everybody keeps asking for plain, simple TEAM based CW's...get a white/red and wine/gold last few days and many say "pass"...wtf is going on in here. Nobody is pleased

I like both CW's.

count me in too.

But on a serious note...

I'm definitely aware of the $200 price tag, but is their another (more serious) reason why one would only cop on discount? ex. design, CW's, reviews, comparisons to past LBJ models.

Just interested in knowing everyones true opinion.

The XI was probably the first Bron in quite some time that relatively ALL releases (mind not every but probably more than past models since being in Miami) were fairly easy to obtain, especially on sale. Places like City Gear with Away's for like $99 shipped or something like that.

There was no reason to rush and cop on RD, GK's restocked like 5 times, etc... So people who are TIRED of ATC's, crashing servers, 8am/5am Sat morning, can wait and cop with ease down the line. Piece of mind. IMO

If I see a pair I really like, I'll cop day 1, but that's me. I'd rather have my pair and not worry about hunting down my size later or ordering a worn/returned pair.

Personally I don't think these will be selling out at all in regards to the average consumer looking for basketball shoes..combine that with the Bron heads who seem to not be going crazy over this model and we should see some of these CWs hit discounted prices.

back in the early 1990's there have been more expensive basketball shoes like the AIr Pump Force 180 or the Converse React Larry Johnsons.
the costed 400 DM which is way over 200 €!
Were those luxury shoes?
