No there were 2 versions of the ASG 2K4s that released to the public, and they were both white/blue/red. The difference is one was a regular version that's like the retro from earlier this week, and the other was a limited edition version that had an LA all star logo on the lateral side near the heel, plus the date of the all star game stitched into the sockliner. The limited edition version also came with a dustbag/special box, and that's what he wore in the ASG.

The white/black/red colorway in the pic you posted was just another GR 2K4 colorway. You might be thinking of the ASG ZK1s instead. For those, Kobe wore a white/red/blue PE in the ASG, and a white/red/black version was released to the general public.

Some had different things imprinted on the insole. My black/maize colorway had a yellow insole with a black crosshairs logo on the inside. I know for the 81 pts, they did NOT have that insole. It was something like purple confetti with 81 inside.

There are two versions of the 81pt ZK1s though. The ones in the pic above with the 81 on the insole and sockliner are the "Why 81?" version that released in 2007 through a scavenger hunt that Nike did. They only released 81 pairs of those for $81 in LA, and they were all made in sz 14 (Kobe's size), came with a special box/booklet. That was the only time Nike has ever done a "release" of the shoe.

The actual 81pt ZK1s that Kobe wore in the game were a PE that had the star logo on the tongue, like the pair shown in the SNKRS app pic, but I'm not sure if the PE version has the same insole with the ASG cities listed. The shade of purple on the Why81 version and the PE version is slightly different too. I know a couple people who have owned both versions of the shoe, and I've heard there are maybe 5-10 pairs of the actual PE version of the shoe floating around.

Kobe retros are confirmed but the exact Kobe 1 81 point game is just rumored

It makes sense Kobe's actual white/purple PE's were just the All-Star colorway with the red swapped out for purple (hence the insoles and logos)... they needed to produce something for him to wear during actual Laker games and just altered a GR one. But when they did the scavenger hunt release, they made those a little more special.

Those SNKRS pics seem new but they could just be one of those PE pairs they dug up from some warehouse. If they do retro, I assume they'd change the insole/logos to something like the scavenger hunt pair.

Also a user (@tupac003) did the hunt and got a pair. I think he just posted the story in the Kobe X or XI thread if anyone wants to read more.

Hope they sell everything as a pack on one day. Get it over with. Don't like the feeling of taking Ls every weekend. I'd buy the whole thing and sell the ones I don't need. But judging from the basic colors I'd keep them all :x
