Don't trip, it's a good thing. It's all the resellers returning the pairs they couldn't flip. They've learned their lesson and will stay away from Kobes now hopefully.

Prior to his death people could cop Kobe’s being returned all the time. Half my collection of Kobe 11s were deeply discounted, never worn returns. The Kobe 11 eulogies, the Kobe 5 Chaos, The Kobe 11 all stars are all ones I have personally copped from being returned at Nike Factory or clearance stores.

IMO, all Kobe's should be final sale. Pretty sure adidas does/did this with Yeezy's .. let the resellers take an L or have to sit on inventory that won't sell.
I know I'll get heat for that comment but that will make resellers think twice when they can't return.

Fair, then they can allow swaps.
In theory if we're discouraging people buying for the purpose of reselling, then anyone should be able to hit up their local store and try them on before purchase like the good ol' days.

If we’re talking in reality though, if they’re still limited/semi-limited, walking in and trying them on isn’t really a possibility.

One of the great things about Kobes (each year since the V) is they still will still look good enough to wear after you play in them. Hooped in these yesterday. Big difference using the insole from the AD NXT, which is the most comfortable Kobe insole IMO. That said, because they still look good after one 4 hour long hoop session in just going to play in both my AD NXT's & my 3 pair of Zion 3's.
Also, the Calm slides & Calm Mules are comfy af! And Macy's has some shorts for those of us who don't like the hoochie daddy look.

Really disappointed with my Navy 8 protro’s. We need better colors, these plain colorways are unacceptable. And the shoes themselves feel so stiff when I hooped in them. I don’t remember OG 8’s feeling like that

I had a better hooping experience this time around when I played in the red protos this past Saturday compared to my Sulfurs 11 years ago (didn't like the lunarlon drop-in compared to that of the AD NXT, which wasn't out yet).
The only thing I don't like is when you test the grip on the 8 it doesn't squeak, but it still has grip. That's weird to me.
Going to play in my AD NXT's more now since I was able to scoop some new Kobes.
