Nike blew it on the Elite lows overall. Aside from the mambacurial 10 and maybe the christmas, the only good ones were the stupid-limited HTM pairs (were they HTM? now I can't remember)...racecars and shark jaws, etc.

I loved the Xs my fav Kobe, I think I got 5prs right now. Mambacurial, Rivals, Gold EXT, Black High EXT, and WTKX low conversion. I was stupid to skip out on all the ID, just freaking stupid

Double entendre with the 6s. The Mavs swept the Lakers the year of that shoe on the way to the championship. Last time we truly got prime Kobe playoff basketball.

The last image in my mind of prime Kobe in the playoffs in VI's was the way he hung his head after Andrew Bynum hard-fouled (flagrant?) JJ Barea. Later he said you gotta win like a champion and you gotta lose like a champion.

I thought the soles of the VIs were hard to keep clean and the shoe was too streamlined to wear with bootcut jeans in 2011. Regret selling them now.

In 2012 Kobe was still pretty much on fire in the playoffs as well, averaging 30 points plus decent rebound and assist numbers. His last playoff game ever, which came against OKC in game 5 he had 42 points and if his teammates would have helped him more, I still believe that the Lakers could have pulled it off and who knows if they would have made it to the finals?

If Kobe would have just listened to his body a bit more during 2012-2013 he would have not torn his achilles and played in the 2013 playoffs and I believe they would have been a problem for the Spurs then!

Of course all irreverible theory here!

My Kobe patches came in from the Lakers Store (3 total). Here are a few pics with my DS Undefeated pair (I have another pair that I wear. And yes I’m fortunate to have 2). And I just threw in an old Kobe Upper Deck game worn card to go along with the patch theme (patch from #8 jersey)

That they were. It was impressive as the Mavericks were unstoppable that playoff run plowing through everyone including the garbage *** heat. My favorite cw next to the Barcelona's i was never able to acquire.
