The Official Netflix Thread Tho: Recommend Streaming Movies

The latest kingdom season 2 airs tonight, does anyone know if it will it air on Netflix too... or are we gonna have to wait? I have BBC channel, but I rather the no commercials BBC goes overboard with commercials.

Probably have to wait until the season is done. You lucky you have the bbc channel though.

Are there any shows you guys would compare Master of None to, as far as writing/style?

Kinda reminds me of Louie, but if Louie was a late 20 early 30 something man, indian, single, an actor and a lot more optimistic about life in general

Writing is sharp and the subject matter is some stuff that doesn't get touched on(the parents episode) while stuff that does(racial stereotyping) feels fresh because he's indian so it adds a dynamic you hardly ever see.

I've seen a few other people say that. I gotta check that show out sometime. I love a good fight scene, and IF is letting me down with that.

It reminded me of Arrested Development.

The family dynamic and they way they treat each other.

It's so smart.

Big fan.

The fact that it's Archives turns me off.
I was hoping for current day topics being slandered and pandered.

Just watched ep.1 of Into the Badlands.. wow!! All I can say Ep.1 first fight scene > All of IF flight scenes.
Absolutely!! That choreography was off the charts! My dad and I sat down and watched the first 3 episodes last week. Really good show.

Watched this movie over the weekend named Deidre and Laney Rob a Train.

It was pretty good. Had some funny moments in it. If you like the vibe of Napoleon Dynamite, I think you'll like this one.

If you like Louie, you'll also like Maron. I don't know if it's in the US Netflix but the show is hilarious. He's more of a hipster Loui who actually gets laid. and instead of a standup, he does Podcasts in his garage.
