Jalen is also shooting a ton of threes this season, but so far he's been hitting them. I wonder if its the analytical guys in the front office that are changing these players shot diet? Guys this athletic should never be settling for that many 3's.

Someone like Ant should be consistently killing folks from midrange with his skillset instead of running off picks and jacking up as many 3's as everyone else
He’s nearly doubled his 3 point rate while still drawing fouls, and mostly without the baiting we see from Dame & Trae. His scoring has been great.
By far his biggest issue offensively is he’s a terrible passer. By any metric he’s somehow gotten worse at it compared to last year.
Randle & Conley are carrying that load right now, which is fine but eventually Ant will need to learn how to pass

I understand the math part of it, but its a rhythm to basketball. Especially as a scorer. The threat of the mid range will open up drives and the threes. But going 1-9 for three instead of taking some middys is insane to me. The ball needs to go in the hoop

When Lebron or Luka miss 2-3 jumpers in a row, its almost a guarantee the next basket is gonna be a post up or a drive. for a layup or freethrows. Sometimes you just gotta see somethin go in

C’s rang them up for 150 per 100 so that’s gonna skew any of their metrics for a little while
I think they’ll ultimately be ok. They defended well enough to win last night even with Garland going crazy. The offense is just gonna take some time to come along.

A mid range shot is way closer to the rim than a 3. If you can get that shot, it opens up the game. Its not that difficult. Im not saying spammed them. Im just saying add some diversity. There's a reason these guys numbers go down in halfcourt basketball. No midrange.
