This is why nobody has ever come back from down 3 games. Too much emotional and physical energy spent just trying to even the series = no gas to make it thru the finish line.

Also, the conference semis and finals are grueling, basically playing every other day, and the Celtics have gone the distance twice in a row, in addition to having to come back down 3-0.
