The issue isn't getting cooked by an elite offensive player, the issue is the coaching staff of said player believing his team's chances of winning are increased while that player isn't playing.

Granted, defensive schemes and offensive philosophies make that a reality but it isn't because the player is getting cooked that people clown them about.

Just a shame that some/most players have become so specialized, that when they're not doing that 1 or 2 thing(s) well that they're elite at, they're unplayable.
