My dad used to take me to wrestling knowing full well it wasn't real but leaned into it anyways. I can't wait for it to be my turn.I'll never forget asking my dad if he could take me to a Sonics game when I was eight years old. We didn't have any money, but he said "yes" and bought tickets from a scalper outside the old Seattle Coliseum. It was a rare game that Shawn Kemp didn't start, but came off the bench. Steve Scheffler started in his place. It was the same season the Sonics made the Conference Finals against Barkley's Suns. I remember it vividly. Sonics beat Denver 108-104 in OT. I'll never forget that game. Cherish those moments with your son. My dad doesn't remember, but I do.
